A thousand years ago, in the forest of Himalaya, a brave Nuoba hunter went on the journey of searching “the spring of life” in order to save his tribe. This is the first film about the Chinese minority ‘Nuoba’ ever made. The crew spent three years in the remote area of Tibet, during which they created and recorded many original songs sung by the tribe and endured tremendous difficulties; from altitudes of 3000m along the Yarlung Zangbo River to 6000m in the snowy mountains, from deserts and wastelands to forests and glaciers, showing us the beauty and harshness of the nature, and the legend and mystery of the life in the highlands.
